    🌅 Breakfast Favorites

French toast sticks with syrup and hash browns.

Burger King’s vegan breakfast offers satisfying options that pair perfectly with a cup of tea or coffee for a simple, enjoyable start to your day.

    • French Toast Sticks — Yes, really! These golden brown, piping hot sticks are perfect for dipping in sweet syrup. Shockingly, they’re made without eggs or dairy — a true morning win for vegans.
    • Hash Browns — Crispy, golden, and just the right amount of greasy comfort. They’re vegan-friendly, but like most fried items, there is a chance of possible cross-contamination in shared fryers.

    🍔 Burgers & Sandwiches

    Vegan Impossible Whopper burger.
    • Impossible Whopper — The star of the vegan menu! It’s the plant-based twin of the classic Whopper, with a patty from Impossible Foods that looks and tastes like beef, but is made entirely from plants.

It’s topped with lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions, ketchup, and mayo on a sesame seed bun. Just skip the mayo to make it 100% vegan.

    🍟 Vegan Sides

Fries, onion rings, and apple sauce images.

What’s a Burger King trip without something crispy on the side?

    • French Fries — A timeless classic, cooked in vegetable oil.
    • Onion Rings —Burger King USA’s onion rings are now vegan, as the recipe no longer includes eggs or dairy.
    • Have-sies™ — Can’t decide between fries and onion rings? Get both! This 50/50 mix is the best of both worlds. Just avoid the Zesty sauce as it contains milk and eggs.
    • Applesauce — Simple, sweet, and safe.

    🥫 Sauces & Extras

    Vegan-friendly dips & condiments include:

    • Ketchup
    • Mustard
    • Barbecue Sauce
    • Fruit Jam packets (strawberry, grape, etc.)
    • Breakfast Syrup (great for French toast sticks)

    🥤 Vegan Drinks

From hot coffee to frozen treats, here’s what’s vegan-friendly to sip on:

    Hot & Iced Options

    • Black Coffee (regular or decaf)
    • Hot Tea
    • Iced Tea (sweetened or unsweetened)

    Juices

    • Simply Orange Juice
    • Minute Maid Orange Juice
    • Capri Sun Apple Juice
    • HI-C Fruit Punch & Pink Lemonade

    Sodas & Frozen Drinks

    • Coca-Cola, Dr. Pepper, Fanta & more
    • Frozen Coke ICEE
    • Frozen Fanta Wild Cherry ICEE
    • Bottled Water

Note: Sadly, None of the desserts or shakes at Burger King USA are vegan as of 2025.

    ❌ Discontinued Vegan Items

Over the years, Burger King has removed several vegan-friendly favorites — and fans are still hoping for a comeback. These retired items include:

    • Oatmeal (Breakfast)
    • Side Salad
    • Apple Pie (Dessert)

    🧀 Burger King Vegetarian Options

Vegetarians can enjoy all the vegan options above plus a few extra indulgences that contain eggs or dairy:

    • Mozzarella Fries — Breaded mozzarella sticks shaped like fries, with marinara sauce.
    • Egg & Cheese Croissan’wich — Fluffy eggs, melted American cheese, on a toasted croissant.
    • Egg & Cheese Biscuit — Similar to the Croissan’wich, but on a warm buttermilk biscuit.
    • Egg-Normous Burrito (modified) — Skip the bacon for a hearty burrito filled with eggs, cheddar cheese, hash browns, and a creamy spicy sauce.
    • Churro Fries — Cinnamon-sugar pastry fries served warm with chocolate sauce.
    • Cheesy Tots — Crispy potato bites with melty cheese inside.
    • Shakes — Vanilla, Strawberry, Chocolate, Oreo, and Chocolate Oreo (all vegetarian-friendly).
    • Desserts — HERSHEY'S® Sundae Pie, HERSHEY'S® Sundae, Chocolate Chip Cookies, Soft Serve Cup/Cone, OREO® Sundae.
    • Iced Coffee with Cold Foam — Brewed iced coffee with cream, vanilla syrup, and topped with cold foam.

    🌍 Country-Specific Variations

If you’re traveling, you might find even more plant-based options

    • UK – Expanded vegan menu including the Vegan Royale, Plant-Based Whopper, Ultimate Bean Burger, and vegan nuggets. Availability varies by location.
    • Other Regions – Some countries offer localized vegan creations like NotCo-based burgers (Latin America), vegan cheese bites, and plant-based nuggets.

Whether you’re vegan or vegetarian, Burger King USA offers plenty of tasty choices—from the plant-based Impossible Whopper to crispy sides and refreshing drinks. With options expanding every year, it’s easier than ever to enjoy a satisfying meat-free meal on the go.
