If you’ve ever wondered how to make Oreo truffles without cream cheese, this recipe is for you. These Oreo balls are made with just three ingredients, no cream cheese, no baking or special equipment is required. These Oreo Truffles are dairy free and vegan.
Crush Oreo cookies to fine crumbs in a food processor. Crush all cookies into fine crumbs. Reserve 2 Tbs of cookie crumbs for later.
Add coconut cream into cookie crumbs and mix well with hand. Add coconut cream gradually as sometimes it has a very high-fat content so you might need a little less than 3 Tbs. Knead well with hand. This step is so important as this will ensure a smooth truffle texture without any cracks and crumbles.
Leave it to cool down a bit in the refrigerator for about 5 min, this will harden and make the dough less sticky.
Next, scoop out the mixture about 1 Tbsp at a time and form it into 1-inch ball then place on a butter paper-lined cookie sheet. Place truffles in the fridge for 10 minutes, meanwhile melt the chocolate according to package instructions.
Remove truffles from the fridge and dip in melted chocolate. Use a spoon to pour some chocolate over the top then lift with a fork to allow excess chocolate to run off. Return to the cookie sheet and allow the base chocolate coat to set.
Next, decorate truffles with more chocolate drizzle and reserved Oreo crumbs. Refrigerate until firm, about 10 minutes.
Serve with love.
Store leftover truffles, in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Notes
Always use regular Oreos, do not use the Double Stuf Oreos otherwise you will end up in extra sweet truffles.
Make sure to use full-fat coconut cream to get the rich and smooth texture.
Make sure cookies are crushed to fine crumbs (no large chunks). This will help in forming the perfect smooth Oreo truffles without any cracks.
Always use your hands to mix and form the perfect consistency dough.
Make sure you chill the truffle dough before shaping the truffles.
Your truffles should be firmed and chilled before dipping into chocolate and chocolate should be smooth and in running consistency.
